ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of MSgt Ryan Kees, US Air Force, requests the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the funeral service, LEO supported procession, and graveside rendering of military honors of their loved one. MSgt Ryan A. Kees currently served as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Strategic Cyber Systems Division for the 24th Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. MSgt Kees provided radio frequency spectrum operations support in the Air Force’s only cyber numbered air force, delivering full range capabilities to two wings and one combat communications group. MSgt Kees is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and originally entered the Ohio Air National Guard in September 2000. He transferred to the Air Force with a direct duty assignment to Travis Air Force Base, California in January 2004 as a Satellite, Wide-band, and Telemetry Systems Journeyman. He retrained into the Spectrum Operations career field in March 2013 and has served in a variety of communications-electronics maintenance and cyberspace support assignments in Ohio, California, Germany, and Texas. Prior to his current position, MSgt Kees was the Unit Deployment Manager, 543rd Support Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. His overseas deployments include locations in Antarctica, Iraq, and Afghanistan in support of Operations DEEP FREEZE, IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.
