HOTH Mission
Run for The Fallen
Jacksonville, Florida  02-07-21

The Run For The Fallen (Honor and Remember Inc.) has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line as their runners arrive at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall on their completion of a 3 day 170+ mile run from Tallahassee FL to Jacksonville FL. On Flag Day, June 14, 2008, a dedicated team of runners participated in the first Run for the Fallen and ran 4100 miles across America from Fort Irwin, CA to Arlington National Cemetery, one mile for every Soldier, Sailor, Airman, and Marine killed since the War on Terror began. In 2018 on it’s tenth anniversary, Honor and Remember expanded the initial run by creating America’s Run for the Fallen, the most comprehensive fallen veteran tribute to date. From April 7th – August 5th, covering 6000 miles over 120 days through 19 states honoring over 20,000 service members. Using the model from America’s Run for the Fallen, 6000 mile tribute, Honor and Remember Inc., has established the Florida Run for the Fallen. An organized tribute event to run specific miles for each Florida Fallen Service Member who died as a result of serving from any circumstance during the War on Terror. It will be our Honor to stand as they arrive at their destination.
