Lyons\nTuesday 24 January 2017\nGautier\, Mississippi \nThe PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS have been requested to help honor and pay  tribute to another member of our Greatest Generation at the celebration  of his 100th Birthday ! \nMSGT Rueben E. Lyons Honorably and Proudly served during WW II with the  600th Air Engineer Squadron\, 384th Air Service Group of the US Army Air  Corps. After receiving training in Florida\, Texas and New York\, he  served in the Pacific Theater on several Philippine Islands during WW  II\, then served in Japan during the occupation.\nHis medals and awards include the PHILIPPINE LIBERATION RIBBON w/1  BRONZE STAR\, WORLD WAR II VICTORY MEDAL\, WORLD WAR II JAPANESE  OCCUPATION MEDAL and the GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL. \nThe PGR will be honored to participate in this celebration of his 100th  Birthday……staging Tuesday 24 January 2017 at 2:00 PM at the GAUTIER  SHOPPING PLAZA\, located on Hwy-90 and Ladnier Road\, behind Exxon in  Gautier 39553.\nAfter a Mission briefing\, KSU\, with large motorcycle-mounted US Flags  flying to a nearby private residence where a US Flag line will be formed  outside the home for this celebration. \nNOTE:  Large motorcycle-mounted US Flags are encouraged.\nSufficient parking will be reserved for the PGR at the residence. \nIt is sadly\, a very rare opportunity we have to thank a 100 year old WW  II Veteran in person for his service to our country\, please join with us  as we help celebrate with ONE WHO STOOD FOR US ! \nPrimary Staging Details:  24 Jan 2017 \n\nPrimary Staging Time:  2:00 P.M.\nGautier Shopping Plaza; Hwy-90 and Ladnier Road\, behind the Exxon;\nGautier\, MS 39553\n\n\nRide Captain: \n\nRandy Rushing\n228.623.1633\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nFlags: \n\nFlags Will Be Provided\n\n\nIf you have large bike flags\, please bring them.\n\n\nWater will be provided.\n\n\n===========================\nNote:\nYou do not have to own/ride a motorcycle or be a Veteran to join and membership is Free.
