DESCRIPTION:Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been requested to stand for Rudy Fred Purcella\, age 95. He was born in Portland\, OR as a first generation Italian American. Rudy’s parents were immigrants of Calabria\, Italy. Following graduation from Benson High School\, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in WWII from 1944 to 1946. Rudy was honorably discharged as an ACk (Assistant Cook\, E5).
