ABOUT THE MISSION:

We are sad to report the passing of US Army Retired Vietnam Veteran Roy Payne (75). His family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to help honor and pay respect for his service to our country. We will provide a flag line during visitation from 1-2 pm, then escort to Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr Payne was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal w/1olc, Army Commendation Medal w/2olc, Army Good Conduct Medal 5th, National Defense Service Medal w/1 bronze star, Vietnam Service Medal w/4 service stars, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/palm, Unit Citation, Senior Aircraft Crewman Badge.
