ABOUT THE MISSION:

SP4 Roy G. Williamson stood for us while serving four years in the U.S. Army including a tour in Vietnam, it is now our turn to stand for him. He received the following awards and decorations for his service National Defense Ribbon, Marksmanship Badge (M-14), Vietnam Service Medal & Combat Infantryman Badge. Roy Williamson enlisted in the Army following high school. During his time in Vietnam, Roy served as a radio operator and a cook. After his time in the service Roy worked at Robins Air Force Base in civil service as an aircraft mechanic, primarily focusing on the wiring in the tail of the C-130 aircraft. He then went on to finish his career working with Lockheed-Martin in several states.

Special Instructions:

Set up a static line upon arrival.Ride briefing at 9:50 AM. All riders must attend briefing if you plan on joining the motorcycle escort.Stand flag line from 10:00 am till service begins at 11:00 am. Accompany family with 2 sets of cremains (SP4 Williamson and his spouse) to Andersonville National Cemetery. KSU at 1:00 pm for 2:00 pm inurnment at Andersonville.If you would like to meet at Andersonville National Cemetery please be there by 12:30 pm to wait for our arrival.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
