Griffin\, U.S. Army\nVietnam Veteran\nDardanelle\, Arkansas\n\n\n\nThe  family\, and friends of SSG Roy Dane Griffin\, 66\, have requested the  Patriot Guard Riders attend his funeral services to show Honor\, and  Respect for service rendered to our country. SSG Griffin was a combat veteran\, and proudly served in the U.S. Army as an Armor Crewman in the Vietnam War\, he also served in Germany. Awards include NDSM\, GCM\, VNDM\, VNSC\, EIB\, and the CIB. \nSurvived by his wife\, three children\, five grandchildren\, other relatives\, and many friends who mourn his loss. \nMilitary Honors will be 10:00 am\, Saturday\, 8-27-16\, at the Slaty Crossing Free Will Baptist Church\, near Dardanelle\, Arkansas \nPlease make a special effort to attend this mission due to the rural location.
