Warwick, Rhode Island – 05-24-19

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Patriot Guard Riders and Associates, the family of Ms. Rosetta “Rosie” Desrosiers has asked you to help honor their loved one at her end of watch. Rosie served in the US Coast Guard from 1943 to 1945. She remained state-side during her service. She was a very proud veteran and was one of the original organizers for WAVES in RI. Rosie became somewhat of a local celebrity when she recently attended the first all woman veteran Honor Flight and was the oldest veteran there. She truly enjoyed the send-off they received with patriotic music, flags, veteran and support groups, local news, family and friends. Her delight evident by the bright smile on her face. Patriot Guard will provide an escort from the funeral home to the cemetery and a flag line at the cemetery.*** Bikes in escort will go to the funeral home.***flag line participants please go to cemetery.
