ABOUT THE MISSION:
SSgt Verdell honorably served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and departed this earth at age 59. He received the following awards: Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award w/3 OLC, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award w/2 OLC, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/5 OLC, Air Force Longevity Service Award w/4 OLC, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon w/1 OLC, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon. We will escort SSgt Verdell from Tracy Morton Memorial Chapel, 55 Coast Road, Pensacola, Florida, to Holy Cross Cemetery, 1300 Hayes Street, Pensacola, Florida, where Military Honors will be rendered.
