DESCRIPTION:Ronald “Ron” L. Stoddard\, PGR\, Veteran\nUSAF\nLake Charles\, Louisiana – 24 Apr 2017\n\n\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nRonald “Ron” L. Stoddard\, 72\, of Lake Charles. \nAt the age of 17\, he  enlisted in the United States Air Force\, where he honorably and  faithfully served our country for eight years. When he returned home to  Lake Charles\, he began a career with CITGO\, which spanned 35 years  before retiring to spend more time with his family. Ron was a passionate  and loyal Harley-Davidson owner\, having made many trips to Sturgis\, SD  and locally having served with the Patriot Guard and was a past member  of the Harley Owners Group. He also enjoyed wood working and building  ink pens. \nRon was preceded in death by his son\, daughter\, sister\, and parents.  Ron leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 39 years\, and his  beloved nieces and nephews to whom he was affectionately known as  “Paran”. \nVisitation will be on Sunday April 23 at Johnson Funeral Home from 4:00  PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will  resume on Monday at the funeral home from 8:00 AM\, concluding with a  funeral service at 1:00 PM officiated by Deacon Harold Nixon.
