ABOUT THE MISSION:
Eighty-two year old Ronald Neil Whiteley passed from this earth on 9 February 2020. During his lifetime he served his Country, State, and City honorably as a 20 year veteran of the USAF followed by service in the Alaogordo, NM Department of Public Safety as a LEO, Firefighter, and EMT. He then retired in 1997 from the State of New Mexico as the Chief Probation Officer with the Youth AuthorityRonald was a Weather Technician in the Air Force, retiring on 31 January 1976 with the rank of TSgt (E6). His awards and decorations include: Air Force Good Conduct Medat with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Longivity Service Award with four Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.The Patriot Guard along with the Holloman Air Force Base Steel Talons Honor Guard have been requested to provide honors during TSGT Whiteley’s funeral service.

We will stage at Planet FItness at 1:00 pm for a 1:10 pm briefing and KSU for Scenic Chappel, 1334 North Scenic Drive, at 1:20 pm. We will stand a flag line outside the chappel from 1:30 to 1:50 while family and friends are arriving. At 1:50 we will move the flag line inside and stand while the Steel Talons provide Military Honors.Following honors and presentation of our condolence card/pin, we will be dismissed.
