ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. Spurr served from 20 April 1961 to 19 April 1965 in the US Navy as a Electronics Technician (Radar). At his Honorable discharge he was at the rank of ATR3 (E-4). Following his military service he had a fulfilling career in newspaper management. He devoted his life to providing the perfect life for his wife and family. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, sports car rallies, and flying. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, 2 daughters, 2 sons, 13 grand children, 2 great-grandsons, and a host of other family and friends.
