The Patriot Guard has been requested by the family of Ronald Eugene Richardson “Sarge” to provide a flag line prior to his funeral service and escort him to his final resting place at Camp Butler National Cemetery in honor of his service to this Great Nation. Ronald served proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He also served in the ILANG for one year. Ron attained the rank of Corporal during his time in the Marines. He was awarded the National Defense Medal and qualification medals for marksmanship with the pistol and rifle. Ron was a past Commander of the Chatham, IL, VFW and loved the Native American culture. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery.

Following the funeral service we will escort family and friends to Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd) for Ronald’s interment.
