ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Ronald C. Kriston has asked the Patriot Guard to stand for their loved one and hero. They have been assured that we will be honored to do so.  Ronald Kriston served honorably in the U. S.  Army 1954-57 and the U. S. Army Reserve after that.  After service, he worked for the CIA in Washington, DC and at the Embassy in London, England.  His main hobby was coin collecting.

Special Instructions:

We will stage in the parking lot in the rear of the funeral home. After the briefing, we will stand a flag line as the family arrives at 10:45 AM.  Military honors will be conducted at 11:30 AM.  We will stand down after the military honors.  There will NOT be an escort to GNC.  There is a chance of rain, so be prepared and cage if you wish.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

  3. Ride Report:
    It is a cool overcast day with a slight wind as the PGR gathered to stand for Ronald Kriston. I conducted the briefing, we said the pledge and Doc led us in prayer. The flag line was set with two at the back entrance and the rest at the front. Because of the corona virus the visitation was very limited with no service. Army honors played taps and folded and presented the flag to Mrs. Kriston. I presented the condolence card signed by the PGR members present and an angel coin. We then rendered honors as Mr. Kriston was brought out to the hearse.

    Thanks to Doc and Pete for flags. Thanks to Gimpy for the condolence card. The family was very appreciative of our presence today. Thank you all for standing for our hero today.
