Honor Mission
Ronald Arthur Zimmerman

ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ronald Arthur Zimmerman is a United States Navy Veteran. Ron served his country honorably from May 1960 to April 1964, including action in Vietnam. During Ron’s service, he was exposed to Agent Orange. Ron succumbed to combat-related illnesses as a result of his exposure to Agent Orange.

Per the OPSEC protocol, we will meet at this public location.
9:10 AM: Road Guard and Mission briefing.
9:20 AM: KSU to a private location.
9:45 AM: KSU to National Memorial Cemetery.
10:30 AM: Military Honors.
Special Notes: Following CDC guidelines and directions from PGR National & our State Captain, the following precautions need to be followed:
•Please have a face mask/face covering that covers both the mouth & nose available. Wearing a mask/face-covering is required at National and the family asks that they are worn at the private location.
•If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home. We will see you again when you are better.
•If you have COPD, other respiratory issues, or other medical conditions that make you a high risk we ask that you consider continuing to stand down until conditions improve considerably.
•Road Guards shall distance themselves from other members, family, friends of the family, cemetery staff, and Honor Guard.
•No handshakes or hugs for greetings and goodbyes –
•Upon returning the flags to the FC please help wipe/spray the poles with the provided disinfectant.
•Maintain a minimum of six-foot separation when standing the flag line. Maintain at least 15 feet separation from all family members, cemetery personnel, Honor Guard, funeral home staff, clergy, etc. Honor them and wish them well with our distance.
•Wash hands before, during (as practical), and after the mission.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
