ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ronald James (Ron) Welch, 68, Green Bay, died Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born on September 26, 1950 in Hope, AR to John and Betty (Pippin) Welch. Ron joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and served in the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1971 and was Crew Chief and a door gunner on a Huey. On February 14, 1987 Ron married. He was a member of Rolling Thunder. Ron built his trike from the ground up due to a neurological problem and was proud that he could give a ride to a Gold Star Mother to the LZ Lambeau event.
