The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and Respect for one of our own, Ron Sury, US Air Force, Vietnam Veteran, on Saturday, 27 Aug 16. Although he went to be with the Lord in February, it was not until now that his memorial service could be arranged.
Service will be held at VFW Post #1212, 1630 Garfield Ave., Parkersburg, WV (http://tinyurl.com/jn5g3av) beginning at 1100.
West Virginia RC Carl Spade (ace_gunsmith@hotmail.com) is the designated RCIC of this most honorable mission.
Staging will be at the VFW at 1015.
Briefing at 1030 with flag line established and maintained until the start of services. All in attendance are welcome and invited to attend the service.
At the conclusion of services, we will escort Ron’s cremains to the Edgewater Café, 860 Muskingum River Rd, Marietta, OH (http://tinyurl.com/zsm6lcw) where his cremains will be solemnly spread.
Early weather forecast is for mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-80’s. Please dress and travel accordingly.
