ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Veteran Rodney L. “Rod” Stewart, 90, United States Navy has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in his Funeral, Escort and Graveside Service. Veteran Rod Stewart enlisted in the Navy in 1951 and served during the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring as a Captain in 1981. Rod Stewart weaved humor into every aspect of his life, even his Naval career. The Navy was both his career and his great passion, which enabled him to live all over the world. He retired after 30 years of service and continued his involvement through the Navy League. Burial following the service at Kearney Cemetery with Military Rites.
