DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nRodney “El-Rod” Hale\, Veteran\nUSMC – Vietnam\nSaint Peters\, Missouri – 07-25-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, our presence has been requested to honor one of our Patriot Guard Brothers and a revered member of the United States Marine Corps\, Rodney “El-Rod” Hale. We will be escorting El-Rod to the hallowed grounds of Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where he will receive full military honors.“El-Rod” joined the Marine Corps at the young age of eighteen and served from 1973 to 1977 as a Field Radio Operator. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. As an active PGR member\, “El-Rod” was a fixture at Honor Flights and the Snowball Express and could always be seen handing out flag pins to the kids. He is survived by his two daughters.
