Rodney “El-Rod” Hale, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, our presence has been requested to honor one of our Patriot Guard Brothers and a revered member of the United States Marine Corps, Rodney “El-Rod” Hale. We will be escorting El-Rod to the hallowed grounds of Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where he will receive full military honors.“El-Rod” joined the Marine Corps at the young age of eighteen and served from 1973 to 1977 as a Field Radio Operator. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. As an active PGR member, “El-Rod” was a fixture at Honor Flights and the Snowball Express and could always be seen handing out flag pins to the kids. He is survived by his two daughters. This is an escort mission only.

Flag Support: Danny “Wolfman” Reinbold, (Alternative) Denny “Dutchman” Eads (Jefferson Barracks).
Please arrive well in advance of the stage time. We are expecting a large turnout.
Weather is projected to be a high of 84* with a 10% chance of rain.
Cages are welcome.

  1. My wife and I offer our deepest condolences to the family of a true American Hero. One of the finest examples of a Patriot I’ve ever met. His Heart, his Personality and his Dedication are all larger than life. We will miss him dearly. His service and sacrifice to our country to preserve our freedom is not and will not be forgotten. He was on my crew working at the Harley Dealership and he, Ruby and I went on Many Missions and Fun rides together, Be Proud of El Rod your loved one for his service and sacrifices he has made to preserve our Country’s Freedom.
