ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Family of US Army, Vietnam Veteran, Capt. Robert Woodrow Caples (71 yrs.) has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard for the final mission of their loved one. Capt. Caples had earned the National Defense Service Medal,Air Medal ,Army Commendation Medal w/V Device , Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device /,Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal ,Good Conduct Medal , Air Medal (1st OLC) w/V Device , Air Medal (20-19 th OLC) , Vietnam Service Medal w/4 Bronze Service Stars , Army Aviation Badge .. Two (2) Overseas Bars and a Purple Heart.

We stand with feet planted firmly on rich soil knowing what freedom is. Because of our veterans, I am free to honor God and country without persecution. Where there is injustice, I am free to fight. Where there is silence, I am free to speak. Where there is hate, I am free to love.
