ABOUT THE MISSION:

It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of another Vietnam Era Veteran. The family of Mr. Robert William Zimmerman has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor their loved one. I have informed them it will be our honor and privilege to do so. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force with the First Mobile Communications Group in Southeast Asia attaining the rank of SGT (E-4). After leaving the service he worked in the air conditioning business. The family of Mr. Zimmerman has also requested the Patriot Guard Riders to serve as pall bearers at his service. I have informed them we will be honored to do so.

Special Instructions:

Stage at the POW/MIA flagpole. Bikes on the right side of the street on the sidewalk, cages on right hand side of the street just past the flagpole or below flagpole if necessary. Make sure to not impede traffic. The service is at 11:30 am.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Airmen Sgt. E-4 Robert Zimmerman. Know that his service and sacrifice to this great nation has not gone unnoticed. Bless you all.
