The family of Chief Disel has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand a flag line at their loved ones viewing and escort to Bushnell National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Chief Disel served in the USN for 20 years and was honorably discharged. Medals and Awards include 5 Good Conduct Medals, Southeast Asia Service Medal, Navy E Ribbon, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon,Navy Expeditionary Medal, and Expert Pistol Badge. This hero served our great nation and us, this is our turn to stand for him.
