Robert W. Buss , Veteran
USA – , Vietnam
Little Chute, Wisconsin – 10-29-19
ABOUT THE MISSION:
Robert W. Buss, of Little Chute, left us on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Bob was born to William and Marion Buss on December 25, 1949 in Neenah, Wisconsin. Bob attended Neenah High School and entered the Army in 1967. He proudly served his country in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969. He was honorably discharged in 1970. We unfortunately did not have the opportunity to honor Bob as his family had never heard of us.Later that year, I got a phone call from someone who heard of Operation Christmas Angel and asked if she could help. I told her where and when and told her to ask for Mark. I met Michelle about half way through the Operation Christmas Angel wrapping party and she thanked me, then told me she had lost Bob earlier that year and this made her feel good. Just a month ago she made arrangements to place Bob in his forever place at King VA Cemetery. This is not a funeral procession but Michelle would love some company as she takes Bob to King.
