Honor Mission
Robert Prater, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family requests the Patriot Guard Riders to help give honor and respect to their Hero, Robert Prater, who honorably served in the Marine Corp from May, 1967 until March, 1970. During his tour of Vietnam, our hero received 3 Purple Hearts from his dedication to this country. Mr. Prater also served Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee as an appointee to the Independent Living Council. He was Post Commander for the American Legion Post #58. He was President of VVA Chapter 836, and was President of the Giles Cemetery Association. He was also a leader in his local church. Survivors Include his wife of 48 years, one daughter, 5 sons, 5 sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Giles Cemetery following services.
