Robert Michael Phillips, Veteran

Amn Robert Michael ‘Mike’ Phillips graduated from Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs, with class of 1968 and joined the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged he began working for the Goodyear Tire Plant. He moved to Ardmore and continued working with Michelin Tire Company, retiring as a foreman. Mike was a former member of the Patriot Guard Riders. Obituary

Patriot Guard Riders to stand a Flag line at his Memorial service and accompany Amn Phillips’s ashes and family to McAlester Cemetery south of Ardmore.

Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

Robert Michael Phillips Comment

  1. MISSION COMPLETE, Amn Robert Michael Phillips, USAF Veteran, Ardmore OK.
    I would like to thank all those who made the mission today to honor Amn Robert Michael Phillips, USAF Veteran
    We had 15 bikes/trikes 16 PGR members present to honor Mr. Phillips. We started by pre staking flags at McAlester cemetery. Upon arrival at the funeral home we staked flags around the Funeral Home. After the briefing we stood a flag line as family and friends arrived.
    At the conclusion of the service the USAF honor Guard played Taps, folded the flag and presented it to Mr. Phillips son. The PGR invocation was than presented to Mr. Phillips son and daughter. The PGR plaque will be delivered at a later time. We stood an honor line as they moved Mr. Phillips ashes from the Chapel to the car. We than accompanied his ashes, family and friends to McAlester Cemetery. At the cemetery we stood a flag line and presented honors as they placed Mr. Phillips ashes into his final resting place.
    A special thank you to Amn Robert Phillips for your service to our country and dedication to protecting our freedoms. You will not be forgotten.
