Robert “Mac” Mckeithen, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We are sad to report the death of Biloxi Police Officer and US Air Force Retired TSgt Robert “Mac” McKeithen (58). Officer McKeithen was killed on duty on May 5, 2019. While serving with the Biloxi PD, his awards include the Medal of Valor for his efforts in helping the citizens of Biloxi during Hurricane Katrina. His military awards include the AF Commendation Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the AF Achievement Medal. The family of Officer McKeithen has requested the Patriot Guard Riders help honor and pay respect for his service to the citizens of Biloxi, MS and to our great country.

Special Instructions:

VISITATION BRIEFING: 9:15 a.m.
MANDATORY ESCORT BRIEFING: 1:00 p.m. Must attend briefing if you plan on joining the motorcycle escort.
The Patriot Guard will provide a flag line during the visitation from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Following the 12:30 p.m. funeral service, the Patriot Guard will assist in the escort of Officer McKeithen to Biloxi National Cemetery at 400 Veterans Ave for a 2:30 p.m. committal service.
*Note- This will be a large mission and escort, therefore the escort portion is a motorcycles only escort. People in cages can meet us at Biloxi National Cemetery for the committal service.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
