ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family and loved ones of EN3 Robert Leslie Jett has honored the Patriot Guard Riders with a request to escort our hero from his daughter’s residence in Springfield to the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood, Springfield, MO where we will stand a flag line where full military honors will be rendered. Hero Jett served proudly and honorably in the USN as an engineer on the submarine USS Tailfish and earned the Good Conduct Medal. NOTE: This is mission #2 of 2 for Fri. and the committal service will be one hour after Mission #1. We will brief at the conclusion of Mission #1 while at MVC, then ride as a group to the daughter’s house, approx. 8mi/15min where we will meet the family with our hero’s cremains, and escort them to MVC for his committal service.
