PGR has been graciously invited by the family of USMC CPL Robert John Leblanc (Bob) to stand a flag line for their loved one and our hero. Bob was born on Feb 16 1961 and passed away on August 27 2016, following a 15 year illness.
During his years of service he earned the Rifle M16 sharpshooter badge, Good Conduct Medal and Certificate of Commendation. Bob was also a AVN Maint Admi Clerk.
Bob joined the USMC wanting to follow in his father’s footsteps, a 4 time Purple Heart Recipient, he left the USMC when he started a family and joined HFSI, Sprint and Savvis throughout his employment. Bob reluctantly went into early retirement when his medical condition no longer allowed him to work. Bob was an avid Harley Davidson rider and spent most of his time teaching and mentoring young individuals through the Awana Program. Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, K.C. LeBlanc, his three daughters, one son-in-law, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother.
