ABOUT THE MISSION:

SSG Robert J. Stevens, age 29, died Saturday, June 29th at the hospital in Dunn, North Carolina. He was on active duty and serving as an electronic warfare specialist in 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division and died as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident. SSG Stevens was a veteran of the War on Terror. His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, GWOT Service Medal, Airborne Badge and Jump Master Badge.

Special Instructions:

After a short briefing, we will stand a flag line for SSG Stevens and his family from 6 to 8 pm. The Columbus portion of the funeral will be a flag line only. (A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday July 12th at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton). Canton portion will be posted as a separate mission.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
