The family of PVT Robert James Spurling has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s presence as they show their final respects and lay their love one to rest.
PVT Spurling served his Country in the U.S. Marine Corps from March 1968 – March 1972, and performed duties as a Radio Telephone Operator.
PVT Spurling served a tour-of-duty in Vietnam from January 1970 – January 1971. Upon completion of his service to our Country, PVT Spurling received an Honorable Discharge and awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Naval Marine Parachute Insignia, Vietnam Campaign Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal.
PVT Spruling’s wife survives him and his hobbies included fishing, hiking in the mountains and riding motorcycles.
Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and join us as we escort and stand in silent Honor and Respect for our U.S. Marine, Vietnam Veteran and his family.
