DESCRIPTION:The family of Hero Fieker has honored the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line at his service and to provide escort to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery\, south of Springfield\, MO. \nHero Fieker was born in Sarcoxie\, MO in 1937 and enlisted in the Army in 1957 and was Honorably discharged in 1959. He was then enlisted in the Army Reserve to fulfill his 6 year obligation and released in 1963. His residence at that time was Aurora\, MO. \nTrained as an 11 Bravo\, Light Weapons Infantryman\, he was awarded the Good Conduct medal\, Expert Sub-machinegun badge\, Sharpshooter Rifle badge. His duty station was Ft. Sheridan\, IL\, Co B\, 3rd Armor Rifle\, 51st ID. \nService will be conducted at 12:30\,  Walnut Lawn Funeral Home\, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn\, Springfield\, MO. w/ escort to MVC and 1400 hrs committal. \nHot & Humid.
