DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nRobert Hale\, Retired\, PGR\nUSA – GW/ODS\nHarker Heights\, Texas – 05-11-21\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nRobert Hale started as a Supply Sergeant and eventually reclassified to Motor Transport Operator. He culminated his twenty year career at Ft Hood\, Texas with the 3/41st Mechanized Infantry Battalion where he retired\, January 31\, 1993 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. During his twenty years of service\, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal; Army Commendation Medal with four bronze oak leaf clusters; Army Achievement Medal; Good Conduct Medal (sixth award); National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star; Southwest Asia Service Medal with three bronze stars; NCO Professional Development Ribbon with numeral three; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral three; Kuwait Liberation Medal – Saudi Arabia; Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver “W” Bar; Expert Badge with Rifle Bar; Korea Defense Service Medal.
