Honor Mission
Robert Hale, Retired, PGR
Harker Heights, Texas – 05-11-21


Robert Hale started as a Supply Sergeant and eventually reclassified to Motor Transport Operator. He culminated his twenty year career at Ft Hood, Texas with the 3/41st Mechanized Infantry Battalion where he retired, January 31, 1993 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. During his twenty years of service, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal; Army Commendation Medal with four bronze oak leaf clusters; Army Achievement Medal; Good Conduct Medal (sixth award); National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star; Southwest Asia Service Medal with three bronze stars; NCO Professional Development Ribbon with numeral three; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral three; Kuwait Liberation Medal – Saudi Arabia; Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver “W” Bar; Expert Badge with Rifle Bar; Korea Defense Service Medal. Robert honored fellow Veterans and Service members through his volunteer work, including riding with the Patriot Guard Riders, Wreaths for Vets, and participating in various charity rides, and also an active member of the Horny Toad Harley Owners Group in Temple, Texas.  Obituary

Once the funeral starts, we will prepare to participate in the procession. Any rider not present for the rider briefing will not be allowed to participate with the PGR. Be prepared for changes during this mission.

Special Instructions:

Meet at the cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
