ABOUT THE MISSION:
Col Robert “Bob” G. Buckey retired from the Air Force with 30 years of service. Col Buckey was a highly decorated fighter pilot with 142 combat missions in Vietnam. Bob received numerous awards including a Legion of Merit and a Distinguished Flying Cross. He later served at the Pentagon and in Central Command. After his military career Bob was active with the American Legion, 75th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War reenactor and the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association.

After the briefing we will prepare for a LEO led Rolling Honor Guard to Andersonville National Cemetery. There will not be a flag line and we will not enter the cemetery due to COVID-19 procedures. We will maintain social distancing during briefing and other portions in accordance with CDC guidelines. Rain is predicted so plan accordingly. If you bring big flags make sure they are capable of highway speeds in adverse weather conditions.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
