Honor Mission
Robert Francis Fritz, Retired
USAF –

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Robert Francis Fritz is a United States Air Force Veteran. Bob entered active duty in Oct. 1959. Bob’s MOS (Military Occupation Specialty) were 7424 – Manpower Management Officer for 3 yrs., 5 months; 1835 – Missile Operations Officer for 1 yr., 2 months; 1825H – Missile Launch Officer for 3 yrs., 10 months; 7464 – Management Engineer Officer for 1 yr., 5 months. On Oct. 31, 1980, Bob retired after a 22-year career and was honorably discharged, having attained the rank of Captain, pay grade O3. Bob’s last duty assignment was Headquarters, Air Force Logistics Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Oh. During his service to our country, Bob received the following: Army Good Conduct Medal; Air Force Good Conduct Medal; Combat Readiness Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon w/4 Oak Leaf Clusters; National Defense Service Medal; Meritorious Service Medal.
It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude to this hero for the sacrifices he made for this nation.

Although all prior statewide mandates have been lifted at staging locations, all members must still adhere to the following:*All members are required to carry a face mask/cloth covering at all times during the mission. There are still partners (funeral homes, cemeteries, churches) that may require masks to be worn as well as social distancing. Some families may also request masks/face coverings be worn. We will always respect their wishes.*If you wish to wear a face mask at a mission, you are free to do so.*If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home until you improve.*Flag support can begin with the normal procedure of water and snacks for members. While disinfecting the poles is always a good idea, it is no longer required.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
