ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of hero Robert “Rob” Cameron has honored the Patriot Guard Riders with a request to escort their loved one to his final resting place at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery (MVC), Springfield, MO and to stand in honor of him. Full military honors will be rendered.
Hero Cameron proudly and honorably served our country with two tours in Vietnam and earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Award.
As a youth, Rob was involved in the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also a Golden Gloves Boxing champion. He later graduated college at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM where he resided for 30 years before retiring to the Branson, MO area in 2003.
He is survived by his wife, seven children, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
