Robert Charles Vaughn, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Robert Charles Vaughn was a United States Air Force veteran. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 to 1976. During his time in the service of his country he achieved the rank of Sergeant with a pay grade of E-4. Roberts MOS was 55255 Plumbing Specialist. Robert also had one year Foreign Service, his last duty station was U-Tapao Royal Thai Navy Station, Thailand.
Robert was released from active duty and honorably discharged in August 1976. While in the service of his country Sergeant Vaughn earned the National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Robert was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War and a member of Disabled American Veterans.

Special Notes:
The Following CDC/Government guidelines/mandates and directives from our State Captain, the following precautions are to be followed and there are no exceptions.
All members are required to wear a face mask/cloth covering at all times during the mission.
If you are unable to wear a mask, we ask that you stand down and stay home.
No handshakes, elbow bumps or hugs for greetings and goodbyes.
Should you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home until you improve.
Any medical condition(s) that make you at high risk we ask that you please stand down until conditions improve.
Maintain a minimum of six-foot distance from other members when standing the flag line.
Maintain at least 15 feet separation from all family members, cemetery personnel, Honor Guard, funeral home staff, clergy, etc.
Wash your hands before, during (as practical), and after the mission.
 No snacks will be provided by flag support and members should not bring any to share either.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided by the flag support person and passed out only by that person.
