The family of Robert C. Cox has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his military honors funeral. Another of our “Greatest Generation” veterans has passed on.

ABOUT THIS MISSION:
Robert C. Cox answered his country’s call to service during World War II. He joined the Navy and rose to the rank of Electricians Mate 3rd Class. He served aboard the LCS-68 – Landing Craft Support ships that were used to provide close combat support before landing forces on the beaches in the Pacific. He saw action of the beaches of Okinawa and later during the occupation of Japan.
He returned home to marry and raise a family. He was a life long member of the American Legion Post #1493 in Voorheesville. He worked at Guilderland Radio and TV then retired from the US Post Office.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be privileged to be there to render Honor, Dignity and Respect for the life and service of Robert C. Cox.
