ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Robert McClymont “Sparky or Bob as he was affectionately known has asked the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of his service to our country in the US Army as well as over a hundred missions in the Patriot Guard Riders. Bob, was a retired master electrician and served on the board for the Grand Rapids City Union board. He was known for his honesty, generosity and helpfulness.”Sparky” was not a biker but for years carried flags and stakes to so many missions and helped set up so RC’s could ride on the day of the mission. He arrived early, stayed late and rendered honor and respect each and every time, as if it was his first. Bob served in the US Army from 1970 till 1973 including 2 years in Germany. He received the National Defense award, and his Sharpshooter badge with his M16. He is survived by his wife, and there is no obituary available at this time.
