AFTER ACTION REPORT: PFC Robert (Bob) Dennis, US Army-Army National Guard Veteran, Locust Grove, OK

Tuesday, 02 July 2019 was a very warm day. 9 riders and 4 cages, 14 Patriots staged and briefed at Locust Grove Funeral Home, Locust Grove, OK. Flags were posted around the Funeral Home. Following the briefing a prayer was given. The front door was manned and the PGR stood a Flag Line as family and friends arrived. When the service began all flags were retrieved and prepared for the next mission. At the close of the service the PGR stood a respect line as the Hero was placed in the coach. The PGR, with the assistance of the Locust Grove Police Department accompanied PFC Dennis from the Funeral Home to McClain Cemetery where Flags were prepositioned. We stood a respect line as the Hero was carried to the shelter, then we took our place beside a Flag for the service. After Taps was played, the flag was folded and presented to Mrs. Dennis . The family was thanked and the PGR plaque and Invocation Letter were read and also presented to Mrs. Dennis and both Daughters. Upon completion of the service the PGR was dismissed.

Thank you, to the Dennis family for inviting the PGR to be a part of this service to Honor this Hero. Thank you to the Locust Grove Police Department for their assistance in a safe accompaniment. Thank you to all the PGR riders who to took time to “Stand and Honor” this hero.

“Rest in Peace” PFC Dennis, US Army Veteran, your mission is complete, you are gone, but your service to this Great Nation will never be forgotten.

Respectfully submitted:
