ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Robert Atwater has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a flag line during his visitation, for arrival of family and friends. We will escort our hero to S.t Charles Memorial Garden for military honors. Veteran Atwater first enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve from 1947-1951. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, serving as a Military Policeman from 1951 – 1954. After his enlistment, Bob became a patrolman with the St Charles Police Dept., a fireman with the St Charles Fire Dept., and in his spare time drove an ambulance. My wife and I wish to extend our condolences on your loss.
We stand with feet planted firmly on rich soil knowing what freedom is. Because of our veterans, I am free to honor God and country without persecution. Where there is injustice, I am free to fight. Where there is silence, I am free to speak. Where there is hate, I am free to love.
Your love one’s watch is over, may they rest peacefully in the arms of God.
