MULTI-CITY, North Carolina – 19 May 2017

ABOUT THE MISSION:
Each year, Freight-liner designs and builds a truck, sometimes more, to honor our heroes and then different trucking companies bid on purchasing this truck. It is then taken to Rolling Thunder in Washington, DC each Memorial Day weekend to participate in the “Run For The Wall”.
The Patriot Guard has been honored to be invited to escort this truck for the past 9 or 10 years We will be setting it up for display at several locations to honor our veterans and active duty military during Military Appreciation Month (May).
NOTE: Anyone who is unable to make the entire HOTH escort mission may join in or leave at any of the 5 display locations.
You MUST attend the ride briefing prior to your participation.
Cages and non-PGR members are welcome and allowed to attend and take part in the escort and displays.
Pictures of the Ride of Pride and the flag line are allowed at each of the 5 display locations.
Fuel will be available at several locations.
Due to the time constraints pictures will not be taken at the initial staging location.
We will try to work with LEO to obtain escorts while in route. Media will also be notified and invited.
