ABOUT THE MISSION:
Richard ‘Wayne’ Stanford, husband, father and PePaw, passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 73 at his home in Mesquite, TX with his beloved wife and family near his side. He grew up in Ben Wheeler, TX and graduated from Van High School in 1964. When the need arrived, he enlisted with the US Air Force on November 1, 1964 as a Medical Specialist. He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged on July 18, 1969 as a decorated Sargent. During his enlistment, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Obituary
