Honor Mission
Richard W. Thomas, Veteran
USA – Vietnam

The family of Richard Thomas has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to provide an escort and to stand a flag line for his military honors. It will be a privilege and an honor to participate.
Richard was a United States Army veteran. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1965 to 1967. Richard served in C Battery, 2nd Battalion, 77th Artillery attached to the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. He was released from active duty and honorably discharged in September 1967 having attained the rank of Sergeant (E-5). He continued his service with the US Army Reserve until November 1971.  While in the service of his country Richard earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Expert Marksman Badge (M-14 Rifle).

Immediately following briefing we will escort this hero and his family to the Memorial Cemetery of Arizona for 12:30 P.M. Military Honors.
