Honor Mission
Richard Thomas Belleau, Veteran
Dallas, Texas – 04-28-21

Richard enlisted and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1959-1965, during which time he was stationed in Germany. While enlisted, he served as an artillery specialist, also known as a “gunner.” After retirement from the plastics industry, working as an extrusion operator, he took a part time job working at the 61st Fishing Pier in Galveston, Texas. That job was more fun than work to him because one of his favorite pastimes was fishing! Along with fishing, Richard also loved to bowl.

Richard Thomas Belleau Comment

  1. ***MISSION ACCOMPLISHED*** Today the Patriot Guard Riders honored the service of Richard Thomas Belleau, United States Army Veteran, as we Stood Tall and Silent during his committal service. The certificate of our appreciation was presented to the family at the service.

The procession to the Committal Shelter was led by Diane serving as the honor bike, A very special thanks to Blackie for assisting with the flags; to Laura, who so tirelessly gets our Missions out to the Riders, to Dan for posting them on the National website, and as always, Linda for taking the pictures, showing the true face of the Patriot Guard Riders, those who so willingly give of themselves and are found standing in the Flag Line.

To Renae, and all of Mr. Belleau’s family and friends, thank you for allowing the Patriot Guard Riders to stand today in honor of this American Veteran. May God comfort you in your loss.
