Corporal Schmick served in the Army from 7/1/1942 until he was discharged on 1/6/1946 as a member of the 1403 Army Air Force unit. He was awarded the Good Conduct Metal\, the WWII Victory Level Metal\, the American Service Metal and the EMAE Service Metal.
