ABOUT THE MISSION:
Richard P. Kelly served his country while in two branches of the services – US Army from 1956 to 1958 then again in the US Marine Corps from 1958 to 1964. He served overseas in Korea and was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict. After discharge from the Marine Corps he became a US Capital Police Officer in Washington D.C.
Richard joined W.W. Granger, Inc. as a Sales Executive and retired there after 20 yrs. He then became Head of economic Development for the City of Albany. He later served as a Peace Officer for the New York State Racing Authority and an Instructor at the Job Corps of Glenmont, NY. He was also a member of the American Legion.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be privileged to be there to render Honor, Dignity and Respect for the life and service of Richard P. Kelly.
