ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of UT2 Richard Michael Potvin, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Petty Officer Potvin honorably served in the United States Navy on active duty from Dec 1990 until Aug 1991 and had previously served 11 ½ years in the Naval Reserve. Petty Officer Potvin earned the Southwest Asia Service Medal, Navy ‘Battle E’ Award, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and the National Defense Service Medal.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.
8:00 AM – Safety brief for all riders
8:15 AM  – KSU to Tracey Morton Funeral Home, 55 Coast Road, Pensacola, Florida  Map
8:30 AM – Arrival at Tracey Morton Funeral Home
9:00 AM – Roll Time to Barrancas National Cemetery
9:30 AM – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery, Site “B”

Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
