ABOUT THE MISSION:
Fellow Patriots, we have been honored with an invitation to stand for retired US Air Force veteran and fellow PGR Member Richard L. Johnson as he stood for us. After retiring from the US Air Force following 20 years of service, he volunteered with Federal Point Volunteer Fire Department and Carolina Beach Volunteer Fire Department. During the Christmas season for several years during the early 1990’s he could be seen at the corner of Cape Fear Blvd. and Dow Road on Carolina Beach dressed as Santa Clause waving to people as they drove by. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, fishing, standing the flag line with the American Honor Guard and Patriot Guard Riders, and riding his motorcycle for pleasure before he became ill. This will be a flag line only mission. Please join me in honoring his service to our country and in supporting his family.
